Maintenance Engineer – Frome, Somerset

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing high‑quality products recognised internationally. They are expanding into export markets and seek a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

£45,000 – £50,000 per annum, Monday to Friday with plenty of overtime.

34 days holiday.

• Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise downtime and improve long‑term reliability.
• Execute the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively and reactively.
• Use root‑cause analysis tools and 5S.
• Support a culture of Continuous Improvement by eliminating persistent problems.
• Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Accurately record all tasks on an electronic reporting system.

• Formal Engineering qualification: C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship trained.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement.
• Strong understanding of good engineering standards.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or production environments.
