Dishwasher - Houlihan's Restaurant & Bar

Overview

Houlihan's Restaurant & Bar is looking for a part-time dishwasher responsible to assist the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area.

No Experience Required

• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass and silver, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation
• Assist the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions
• Safely set-up, clean, and utilize the machinery
• Be responsible for assisting with proper food storage and rotation
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in the kitchen and service side stations to maximize efficiency
• Follow proper safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed
• Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris, or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently, and effectively

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up
• Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with co-workers and guests
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis;
  Able to work varied shifts, including weekday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
