As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations center, call center, parking gatehouse, and more.

• Candidate must be able to walk and stand for 8+ hours.
• Shifts include mornings, evenings, overnight; weekends and holidays may be required.
• On‑call hours and variable days on/off based on site needs. Full‑time hours are not guaranteed.
• Competitive hourly wage starting at $22.00/hr (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees).

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• At least 2 years of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.
• Active Virginia DCJS security license.
• Minimum age 21 years or older.
• Experience with Microsoft or Google applications and security systems; ability to produce incident/DAR reports.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
