Adjunct Lecturers – English – China (Frostburg State University)
Frostburg State University, College of Arts, Humanities, and Social and Behavioral Sciences is seeking part‑time Adjunct Lecturers to teach courses in English Composition at its partner institution, Hunan University of Technology and Business (Changsha, Hunan Province, China). Positions are available on an ongoing basis during the Fall term (September–October, eight weeks) and the Spring term (mid‑May–end‑June, six weeks).
Responsibilities- Teach First‑Year Composition and/or Advanced English Composition courses to students at Hunan University of Technology and Business.
- Prepare course materials, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and develop assignments and assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
- Master’s degree in English or a related discipline.
- Previous teaching experience in a higher‑education setting, preferably in composition courses.
$5,000 per course.
