Introduction

The State of Maryland is seeking Social Work professionals to fill full performance and intermediate positions in the state as Social Worker I, Health Services.

Social Worker I, Health Services is a professional clinical social work at the intermediate level providing direct social work services to clients in a special population in a health setting. The work involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities. The nature of the work may require evening and weekend hours. Work is performed in hospitals, residential facilities, clinics or local health units.

Education:

Determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for Social Workers.

Experience:

None.
