Base pay: $18.75/hr – $24.25/hr.

Mountain City Rehab Center is an 89-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing respectful, compassionate, and exceptional care to seniors. We offer comprehensive services, including 24/7 skilled nursing care, memory care, respite care, hospice care, rehabilitation, and more.

• Full Time Days & Nights (12 hours)
• FT Days (8 hours)
• $4,500 sign‑on bonus for full‑time positions

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA), you’ll work closely with nursing staff to provide daily support and assistance to residents, helping with everything from personal hygiene and mobility to emotional support and companionship.

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding).
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions promptly to nursing staff.
• Support residents’ emotional and social well‑being with kindness and respect.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care.
• Support the facility’s philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives.
• Be sensitive to residents’ families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires.
• Keep residents’ bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy.
• Answer call lights promptly.

• Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) in Maryland.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in long‑term or skilled nursing care preferred.
• A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
