DescriptionAt FHW Pediatric Rehab we provide child‑centric therapy in a supportive environment. Therapists schedule 60‑minute appointments and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT, OT and speech specialists. This role offers a challenging, fulfilling work environment and serves patients with a wide range of pediatric diagnoses.
Essential Functions- Maintain reliable, punctual attendance as scheduled.
- Communicate necessary information to patients, families and the healthcare team.
- Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients as prescribed by a licensed physician.
- Supervise and direct physical therapy assistants, students and rehab aides.
- Identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.
- Assess and document the effectiveness of treatment and modify the treatment plan to achieve goals.
- Provide education to patients, families and caregivers as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote maximum benefit of care.
- Document objective measures of patient status within the limits of licensure.
- Ensure accurate billing and documentation within required time frames.
- Assist with administrative duties (e.g., answering phones, billing, photocopying) as necessary.
- Perform Physical Therapy services off campus as directed by the Rehabilitation Services Director.
- Contribute to the cost effectiveness of services and programs provided by the department.
- Other job‑related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), Master’s degree (M.A.) or Doctoral degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Licenses & Certifications- Current State of Colorado Physical Therapy license in good standing.
- Current BLS certification.
1 to 3 years’ experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
Wage RangeThe wage for this position starts at $38.85 and goes up based on experience.
