Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies related to them
- Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license as required
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgment
- Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
- Support the coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians
- Compound medications according to state and other regulations
- Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records
- Support non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applications
- Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law and company policies
- Provide additional health and wellness services allowed by state and regulatory bodies
- Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations, guidelines, procedures, and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health codes; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure

- Any equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician
