Description:

Seeking a Critical Care Physician to cover the following dates, with ongoing coverage as needed. Emergency privileges will be granted. Days needed are from 7a-7p. The role involves inpatient ICU rounding/admitting with occasional pulmonary consults. The patient population includes adults with a focus on trauma cases. This Level II Trauma center manages an average of 25 patients on the ICU list with approximately 5 admits per night.

Support staff includes APPs supporting ICU physicians, and the locum would occasionally supervise Family Medicine residents. The EMR used is Epic, and the estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days. The facility covers flight, hotel, and rental car or mileage (billed at the IRS standard rate).
