Overview
Current Physical Therapy was started in 2017 in Fruitland, Idaho. Since then, we have added 5 more locations in the Treasure Valley. We are a locally owned, growing outpatient organization with six locations. Here at Current, our goal is to provide unmatched patient care, and this starts with our PT team.
What we are looking forWe are actively seeking prospective PTs to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with the option to work a four-day-per-week schedule. Your compensation package will consist of an annual salary, performance-based incentives, insurance, 401k match, PTO, and allowance for Continuing Education. Annual fuel stipends will be considered, dependent upon location of hiring facility.
Job DetailsSalary range: $75,000 to $90,000, depending on experience. We would like to discuss performance-based incentives. We match 3% in 401k, and will pay for two annual continuing education courses. Annual fuel stipends may be added into the package, and we would be open to discuss this with you.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Mondays through Fridays; facilities open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Eight-hour workdays are standard, with the option to work ten-hour days for a four-day work week.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
- Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
- Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Idaho, or proof of license eligibility
- A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
- Ability to remain organized while effectively managing time
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques to address muscle tension and pain
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients in a clear and understandable manner
- Strong problem-solving skills to adapt treatment plans based on patients' progress or changing needs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
