Week 1 - Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Week 2
-Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Summary:

The Millwright is responsible for assemble, disassemble and repair machines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Weld and fabricate steel.

* Troubleshoot and repair with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

* Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting and conveyor belts.

* Maintenance of a variety of machines.

* Machine design and guarding.

* Aligns machines and equipment.

* Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

* 2 years + experience as a Millwright.

* Ability to disassemble and repair machines.

* Adequate welding skills.

* Mechanical aptitude.

* Strong troubleshooting skills.

* Basic computer skills.

* Excellent People skills.

* Problem solving skills.

* Multi-tasking.

* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

* Ability to solve problems using critical thinking.

* Effective time management and organizational skills.

* High level attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls;

reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.

Travel:

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
