Accountant – Transport & Logistics

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting entries
• Prepare customer invoices and record supplier invoices
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Perform bank customer and supplier reconciliations
• Track transport trips operational costs vehicle expenses advances and supplier payments
• Reconcile trip records against customer billing and supplier costs
• Maintain proper supporting documents for all transactions
• Manage petty cash and operational advances
• Assist with VAT records and VAT return preparation
• Prepare monthly P L expense reports receivable ageing payable ageing and management reports
• Follow up professionally with customers regarding outstanding payments when required
• Maintain organized accounting records for audit and management review

• 2–4 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar business is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with operations and management.
• Confident, practical, organized, and able to work independently.
• Must be willing to work in Fujairah.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
