Head of Radio Station - Indian Nationals Preferred

The radio station in El-Fujairah, UAE is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the role of Head of Radio Station. As the head of the station, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of its operations, including programming, production, marketing, and budgeting. We are specifically looking for an Indian national to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programming strategies that cater to the target audience and meet the station's objectives
• Manage a team of radio hosts, producers, and other staff members to ensure high-quality content is produced and delivered on air
• Oversee the production process for all shows and segments, ensuring they are engaging and adhere to industry standards
• Collaborate with advertising and marketing teams to create successful campaigns that generate revenue for the station
• Monitor budget and expenses to ensure financial goals are met
• Stay current with industry trends and competition in order to continuously improve the station's offerings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in media studies, journalism, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in radio broadcasting or management role
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing a team effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of UAE media laws and regulations is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
