Overview
Librarian in El-Fujairah, UAE. We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will join a library with a focus on providing excellent customer service and a wide range of resources for our patrons. We are willing to consider qualified applicants, including foreign nationals who can work legally in El-Fujairah and have relevant experience.
Responsibilities- Managing the library’s circulation of books and other materials
- Cataloging new materials and updating existing records
- Providing reference services to patrons
- Managing overdue fines
- Assisting with programming activities such as book clubs or story times
- Maintaining accurate records of library usage
- Developing policies for the use of library resources
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working in a library setting
- Knowledge of library rules and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Salary: 1500 AED per month.
