Head of English – International School, Dibba

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of English to lead our dynamic department at a prestigious international school in the United Arab Emirates.

• Degree in English, Education, or a related field, with recognised teaching credentials such as QTS and/or PGCE
• At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven track record in leading English departments, mentoring teachers, and driving curriculum innovation that raises standards across all year groups
• Deep commitment to inspiring students’ love for literature and language, with the ability to design engaging lessons that foster creativity and critical thinking
• Thrives in a multicultural environment, showing respect for diverse perspectives and tailoring approaches to meet the needs of international learners
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of building collaborative relationships with staff, parents, and the wider school community to promote excellence
