Librarian job vacancy in El-Fujairah UAE for foreigners

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the library's collection of books, periodicals, videos, and other materials.
Requirements for the Candidate:- Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience working in a library
- Demonstrated proficiency in cataloguing, classifying, and indexing materials
- Basic computer literacy with knowledge of library databases
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good customer service skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Acquire library materials by selecting, ordering and receiving items according to established budget guidelines.
- Cataloguing new material according to standard practices.
- Classify books according to subject matter by using a recognized classification system such as Dewey Decimal System or Library of Congress.
- Provide reference services by helping patrons locate materials or using online resources.
- Update circulation records manually or using computers.
- Monitor library usage and circulation statistics.
Salary: 1500 AED per month
