Librarian (Indian or African)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference materials, and maintaining the organization and upkeep of the library. This position is open to Indian or African candidates who do not require English proficiency and have no prior experience in a similar role.

• Organize and maintain the library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and processing new materials.
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide guidance on utilizing library resources.
• Monitor library usage and enforce rules and regulations to ensure a quiet and orderly environment.
• Plan and coordinate library programs such as book clubs or educational workshops.
• Keep track of library inventory, order supplies when needed, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services or improve existing ones.

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor's degree in Library Science is preferred but not required.
• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided on-the-job.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to obtain a work visa for UAE.
