Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, compiling data, and preparing reports and maps. The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of surveying principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication skills. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this role.
Duties:
The Land Surveyor will conduct land surveys in accordance with established protocols. They will be responsible for collecting data from the field by using a variety of instruments including total stations, GPS receivers and rod meters. They will also be required to analyze the collected data in order to produce accurate maps and reports that meet the project requirements.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess a degree in surveying or related field with at least one year of experience working as a land surveyor. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of survey principles and techniques as well as good computer skills. Additionally, they should have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate’s main responsibility will be to conduct land surveys in accordance with established protocols and collect data from the field using appropriate instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers or rod meters; analyze collected data; prepare accurate maps and reports according to project requirements; maintain records of all surveying activities; provide technical advice on surveying matters; liaise with clients on project related issues;
work closely with other engineers or surveyors on assigned tasks; ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times; manage resources efficiently in order to meet deadlines efficiently; identify potential problems that may arise during surveying activities and take action accordingly.
