- Prepare accurate MEP quantity take-offs from drawings
- Prepare and review BOQs
- Prepare pricing and detailed cost estimates
- Analyze material labor and subcontractor costs
- Review tender documents and identify discrepancies
- Prepare and evaluate variations and claims
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts
- Coordinate with the estimation procurement engineering and project teams
- Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining cost control
- Strong knowledge of MEP quantity take-off and measurements.
- Ability to prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
- Strong knowledge of pricing, rate analysis, and cost estimation for MEP works.
- Ability to prepare quotations, tender documents, and cost comparisons.
- Knowledge of variation orders, claims, and subcontractor payment evaluations.
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and other MEP systems.
- Ability to check and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations.
- Good understanding of construction materials and current market rates.
