• Planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of civil engineering projects such as roadways, bridges, dams, airports, water systems and other structures
• Ensuring that all safety standards are met during the building process
• Managing budgets and timelines for each project while staying abreast of changing regulations in the industry

• Strong technical skills including knowledge of civil engineering principles and an ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering
• Several years of experience in the field (previous experience managing projects is also preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving aptitude
