Surveyor – Reef Al Fujairah City
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Surveyor to join our team in Reef Al Fujairah City. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries and other features on the earth's surface; for the purpose of mapping, land assessments and development projects. The duties include:
The duties include:- Preparing survey plans, maps and reports from field notes and data collected in the field
- Using GPS receivers, total station, EDM, robotic instruments, aerial photographs, AutoCAD software and other surveying equipment to collect data
- Establishing fixed points on the ground using a variety of marking methods
- Analyzing satellite imagery to identify features of interest
- Monitoring changes in land use or development activity
- Ensuring that all survey work is conducted according to established safety procedures
- Keeping accurate records of survey work and results
- Assisting with other engineering projects as required.
The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Surveying or Geomatics Engineering or equivalent qualifications along with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Additionally the candidate should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills are also required as well as knowledge of AutoCAD software, GPS receivers, Total Stations EDM Robotic Instruments, Microsoft Office Suite and various surveying related software programs.
A valid driver’s license is also necessary. Fluency in English is required for this role; we will consider foreign candidates who demonstrate an excellent command of English language. Salary will be 1400 AED per month.
