The Land Surveyor will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to land surveys in order to identify land boundaries and provide maps of the surveyed area. This includes researching legal records such as deeds, titles, court decisions, surveyors’ reports, etc., as well as surveying land onsite with tools such as transits, levels, and theodolites. The Land Surveyor will also be responsible for making precise measurements of angle and distance between points on the property boundaries in order to determine their exact location.
DesiredQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to use surveying tools such as transits, levels, and theodolites is required
- Knowledge of mathematics and geometry is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyze technical data accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills
