We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Manager/Manager Stores, as a team leader, to manage and control all store and warehouse operations at our electrical cable factory. The role involves effective inventory management of raw materials, consumables, spares, packing materials, and finished goods, ensuring smooth production operations and compliance with company policies.

• Manage overall stores and warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials (copper/aluminium, PVC/XLPE compounds, armouring materials, drums, other raw materials, spares etc.) to support production schedules.
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain optimum stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure proper material identification, labelling, stacking, and preservation as per quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Finance departments for smooth material flow and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate records in our inhouse ERP inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage scrap, surplus, and obsolete inventory as per company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and audit requirements related to stores and warehousing.
• Supervise and train store staff, ensuring discipline, efficiency, and adherence to procedures.
• Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, stock aging, and material movement.

• Education: Graduate in Commerce or Engineering, Diploma/Degree in Stores or Materials Management would be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in stores/warehouse management, preferably in an electrical cable or similar industry.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with raw materials and processes related to electrical cable manufacturing.
• Good leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
