Job Overview

Our client, a respected organization in the Oil and Gas sector, seeks a skilled Shift Supervisor – Mechanical Maintenance to lead a dynamic team in Fujairah, U.A.E. The permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to an industrial environment that values precision, coordination, and technical expertise. The role requires active presence on the factory floor and in various technical workshops to supervise high‑precision machining and heavy‑duty mechanical repairs.

• Lead the mechanical team in the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial machinery, including crushers, conveyors, and curing ovens.
• Oversee the fabrication and machining activities in the workshop, ensuring lathe operators and welders support production needs.
• Manage the plumbing team to keep all water, air, and chemical piping systems leak‑free and operational.
• Supervise auto mechanics to service and repair the factory fleet and material handling equipment promptly.
• Log all mechanical work orders and manage spare part requisitions within the Oracle E‑Business Suite.
• Lead the team in troubleshooting vibration, alignment, and hydraulic issues to prevent extended production downtime.
• Assign specific technical tasks to trade specialists based on the daily maintenance schedule provided by the HOD Mechanical.
• Inspect all completed mechanical repairs and fabricated parts to ensure they meet the factory’s technical specifications.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a factory.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding standards, lathe operations, and internal combustion engines.
• Proficiency in using Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) for maintenance tracking and material management.
• Proven ability to manage a large group of 20–30 technicians with diverse skills such as welding and machining.
• Professional English proficiency; ability to communicate clearly in Hindi or Urdu is required.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for mechanical failures and the ability to read complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience coordinating a multicultural workforce across multiple mechanical disciplines.
