Production Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage their manufacturing operations in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. This is a permanent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking team dedicated to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Shift Management:
  Oversee the end‑to‑end production process on the line to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
• Planning and Execution:
  Implement the production schedule provided by the Production Coordinator and adjust daily tasks to meet deadlines.
• Technical Oversight:
  Monitor machine parameters to ensure optimal Rockwool fiber quality.
• Staff Coordination:
  Manage shift rotations, attendance, and performance of all floor staff. Resolve any immediate personnel issues or conflicts.
• Safety Enforcement:
  Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all staff are wearing proper PPE. Execute LOTO procedures during emergencies or planned stops.
• Inter‑departmental Liaison:
  Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for product testing and with Maintenance for any mechanical or electrical failures.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify bottlenecks in the production line and suggest improvements to the Production Coordinator to increase efficiency.
• Inventory Control:
  Monitor the stock levels of raw materials and packaging on the floor to prevent production halts.
• Factory Floor Environment:
  Requires constant movement across the plant to monitor different sections of the production line.

  Rotating shift work – day/night, including weekends and public holidays as required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related technical field).
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity (preferably in Rockwool or glass wool).
• Strong understanding of PLC‑controlled machinery, furnaces, and industrial manufacturing workflows.
• Proven ability to manage a large, multicultural workforce and drive team performance.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to make high‑pressure decisions regarding production stops.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of Hindi or Urdu is a strong advantage for staff management.
