Production & Material Planner (Supply Chain) – Chinese & English Speaker

We are a leading tobacco filter manufacturing company based in the Fujairah Free Zone, supplying high-quality filter products to international markets. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production & Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team and support efficient production planning, material availability, and inventory management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Production & Material Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, managing raw material requirements, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role requires close collaboration with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Quality teams, as well as regular communication with suppliers and manufacturing partners in China.

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is mandatory, as the successful candidate will communicate daily with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, production capacity, and available resources.
• Coordinate production plans with Operations to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor production progress and revise schedules as required to address changes in customer demand, machine capacity, or material availability.
• Ensure production plans align with sales forecasts and inventory targets.

• Plan and monitor raw material, packaging material, and consumable requirements using Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Ensure timely availability of materials to prevent production interruptions.
• Coordinate closely with the Procurement team to monitor purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
• Identify potential material shortages and proactively implement corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Experience in tobacco products, filters, FMCG, packaging, paper products, plastics, or other process manufacturing industries is highly preferred.

• Native or fluent Chinese (spoken and written) – Mandatory.
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) – Mandatory.
• Proven manufacturing planning experience – Mandatory.
