The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Cashier in a retail environment. The successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills as well as good math and problem-solving abilities.

The primary duties of the Cashier include but are not limited to:

• Operating cash registers and handling credit and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Verifying customer information
• Counting money in the register drawer at the beginning and end of shift
• Answering customer questions regarding store policies, products, pricing, etc.
• Balancing the daily cash receipts with the sales report from the POS system.
• Helping customers select products that best meet their needs
• Offering customers advice on promotions and discounts available at the store.
• Restocking shelves when needed and keeping the store clean and tidy at all times.
