The ideal candidate should be friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented. The successful candidate should be able to maintain an accurate cash register throughout their shift and deal with customers in a professional manner.

• Maintain accurate cash register throughout the shift
• Greet customers courteously and provide assistance when needed
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Count money in the cash drawer at the start of shift to ensure that amounts are correct
• Handle returns in accordance with company policy
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets to customers
• Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures or policies when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic math skills is necessary
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
