International Mediator - Africa
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled International Mediator to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As an International Mediator, you will be responsible for facilitating peaceful resolutions to conflicts between individuals, groups, or organizations from various African countries. Your primary goal will be to promote open communication and understanding between parties in order to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting thorough research and analysis of conflict situations in African countries
- Facilitating negotiations and mediating discussions between conflicting parties
- Identifying underlying issues and interests of each party and finding common ground for resolution
- Developing and implementing effective conflict resolution strategies
- Maintaining neutrality and impartiality throughout the mediation process
- Providing guidance and support to all parties involved in the mediation process
- Ensuring that all agreements reached are fair, balanced, and legally binding
- Bachelor's degree in Conflict Resolution, International Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience as a mediator in international conflicts involving African countries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain neutrality in emotionally charged situations
- In-depth knowledge of cultural sensitivities and dynamics within African countries
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages spoken in Africa is a plus)
- Willingness to travel frequently across African countries as needed
