We are looking for an experienced and talented Web Developer to join our team in Reef Al Fujairah City. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

• Designing website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
• Developing functional mobile-based features
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
• Creating website content including written text, images and video
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed
• Design visual imagery for websites & ensuring they are in line with branding guidelines
• Updating websites & staying up-to-date on emerging technologies & trends
• Training & guiding junior members of the team on web development activities

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development as well as an impressive portfolio of previous work. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla and other web development tools. The candidate should also be able to develop software programs from scratch. Excellent problem solving skills are essential for this role as well as the ability to work independently and with a team.

• Proven experience in web programming
• In depth knowledge of programming languages like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & JQuery
• Knowledge of SQL databases & their query languages such as MySQL
• Knowledge of object oriented programming concepts
• Familiarity with content management systems such as Word Press & Joomla
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
