Deck Crew Member
We are currently seeking a Deck Crew Member to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a member of the deck crew, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This is an urgent contract position that requires a candidate who is able to work well in a fast-paced environment and has excellent English speaking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring and anchoring procedures
- Handle lines and fenders during docking and undocking operations
- Conduct regular safety checks on deck equipment
- Participate in emergency drills and be familiar with emergency procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of deck areas
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed
Requirements:
- Indian national preferred
- Previous experience working on a vessel or in marine industry is preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be physically fit to carry out tasks on deck
- Willingness to work long hours as per vessel schedule
