We are looking for an experienced Light Driver to join our team in Reef Al Fujairah City. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a light vehicle, such as a car or van, with the goal of safely transporting people and goods from one place to another.

Job Description

The Light Driver will be responsible for safely operating a light vehicle and delivering goods or people to their destination on schedule. They will ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that all paperwork is completed accurately. They must also be able to read maps, plan routes, and follow directions for efficient delivery of goods or people. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and the ability to remain alert while driving long distances.

• Drive a light vehicle safely from one place to another as directed by supervisor
• Follow all traffic laws and road regulations at all times
• Ensure cargo is secure before departing on each journey
• Inspect vehicles before each journey for mechanical issues
• Load and unload cargo as necessary when making deliveries
• Maintain accurate records regarding vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
• Report any defects or irregularities found during the course of the journey
• Remain alert while driving long distances

• Previous experience with driving light vehicles required
• Ability to read maps, plan routes, and follow directions
• Knowledge of local roads preferred
• Good communication skills in English preferred
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required
• Must be willing to work flexible hours when necessary
