Fire Fighter / Fire Truck Operator - UAEN
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Fire Fighter/ Fire Truck Operator to join our Fire Services Department. In this critical role, you will respond to emergencies, support fire suppression and rescue operations, and ensure the highest standards of safety and preparedness across our facilities.
Your expertise in operating emergency vehicles and firefighting equipment will play a key part in protecting lives, assets, and property during both structural and industrial emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Safely drive and operate emergency fire vehicles and equipment during responses.
- Operate fire truck pumps and associated systems effectively to support firefighting operations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, inspections, and maintenance — and maintain accurate records.
- Report and document any issues or faults identified during inspections.
- Participate actively in emergency preparedness activities such as drills, exercises, and training sessions.
- Perform fire prevention inspections and related duties as assigned.
- Carry out routine testing and maintenance of fire suppression and rescue equipment.
- Conduct fire watch, patrol, and stand‑by duties during hot work, plant maintenance, shutdowns, and emergencies.
- Participate in daily practical and theoretical training to maintain required professional skills.
- Take on supervisory duties when assigned.
- Perform any other duties as required by the department.
- High School Diploma or GCSE equivalent.
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License (mandatory).
- Defensive Driving Certificate (mandatory).
- Medical examination per NFPA 1583 (Cardio and Muscular Fitness) standards.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Fire Truck Operator.
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter Qualification.
- NFPA 1072 Hazmat Qualification.
- First Aid Level 3 Certification.
