We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pick Vehicle Driver to join our dynamic Wholesale Trade/Import-Export operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods across regional and local delivery routes. As a key contributor to our supply chain logistics, your performance directly impacts customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and on‑time delivery standards.
This position requires a high level of responsibility, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to manage cargo with care. The ideal candidate will possess hands‑on experience operating a 3‑ton pickup vehicle, a valid driving license, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3-ton pickup vehicle for the delivery of goods to customers, warehouses, and distribution centers.
- Load and unload cargo in compliance with weight and safety regulations, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery (POD), delivery logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company safety policies, and import/export documentation requirements.
- Report vehicle malfunctions, damages, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing the company.
- Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience as a delivery driver in logistics, wholesale trade, or import‑export operations.
- Valid and clean driving license with experience operating a 3‑ton pickup vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional road networks, traffic regulations, and delivery protocols.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages (up to 50 kg) with proper technique.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a focus on punctuality.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when required.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery data and using digital tracking tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
- Familiarity with handling sensitive or high‑value goods in a secure and confidential manner.
