As a Senior Sailor in the bustling port city of El-Fujairah, UAE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. Your extensive experience and expertise as a sailor 1st class will be utilized to its fullest potential as you oversee all aspects of ship navigation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train junior sailors in all aspects of ship operations
• Maintain accurate logs and records of vessel activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and make necessary repairs
• Communicate effectively with other crew members, port authorities, and other ships in the area
• Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe navigation
• Assist in loading/unloading cargo as needed

Requirements:

• Must possess at least 5 years of experience as a sailor 1st class
• Valid biometric passport is required for international travel
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work well within a team environment
• Physically fit with the ability to perform duties onboard a ship for extended periods of time
