Second Mate (Part-Time) - El-Fujairah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Egyptian Second Mate to join our team in El-Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be part of a maritime crew responsible for the navigation and safety of the vessel. This is a part-time position with visa sponsorship and accommodation provided.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent navigational skills, good knowledge of maritime regulations, and experience in supervising operations aboard vessels. Additionally, they should have strong communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Navigate vessel according to established regulations and procedures
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust course accordingly
• Supervise the safe loading/unloading of cargo
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on board the vessel as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and other regulations at all times
• Manage crew members and delegate tasks accordingly
• Remain alert at all times for any potential hazards or signs of distress from other ships or persons in the water

• Valid Second Mate License issued by a recognized maritime authority
• Proven experience working in a similar position (minimum 3 years)
• Good knowledge of navigation rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physically fit for strenuous work aboard vessels
• Preference given to Egyptian nationals
