We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Truck Driver to join our team at Reef Al Fujairah City, UAE. We are offering a competitive salary of 1700 AED for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a valid driver’s license and experience driving trucks in the UAE. The individual should have excellent communication skills, be able to read and understand written instructions, and follow the rules and regulations set by the company. We would prefer someone who is familiar with local roads and navigation, as well as someone who is comfortable driving in urban areas.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Driving trucks on assigned routes while following all traffic laws and safety regulations as set by the company.
- Loading goods onto the vehicle and keeping records of goods loaded and unloaded.
- Ensuring vehicles are kept clean.
- Performing pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety.
- Monitoring fuel levels throughout the trip.
- Ensuring proper paperwork for each delivery is completed accurately.
- Conducting regular maintenance checks on the vehicle such as checking oil levels or tire pressure.
- Adhering to any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers from time to time.
Candidate requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and experience driving trucks in the UAE.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Familiarity with local roads and navigation.
- Good understanding of customer service principles.
- Professional appearance at all times.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
- Ability to lift heavy loads up to 25kg.
- Knowledge of basic mechanics related to truck maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Pass a background check before starting work.
