Deck Crew Member – El‑Fujairah, UAE
We are looking for a Deck Crew Member to join our team in El‑Fujairah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a deck crew and will be able to handle all tasks associated with this role.
The successful candidate will have excellent English speaking skills and preferably be Indian or Egyptian nationality. They should also be able to work full time and have their own visa.
- Conducting regular maintenance checks on the deck, including ensuring all safety equipment is in good working order
- Assisting with the operation of the vessel, such as loading and unloading cargo and operating deck machinery
- Inspecting and maintaining all navigational equipment
- Taking responsibility for the safety and security of passengers onboard
- Adhering to local regulations for operating vessels in ports
- Assisting with any other duties as required by the Captain or Chief Officer.
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and an understanding of maritime regulations. They must also be physically fit and capable of working in hot conditions.
