Storekeeper

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
• Track documents and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.
• Ensure accuracy of the facility's inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
• Manage inventory supplies and keep them within established minimum and maximum levels.
• Keep up-to-date records of receipts, withdrawals, and other stockroom activities.
• Pack, price, label, and return supplies; perform stock rotation and coordinate disposal of surpluses.
• Oversee handling of freight, movement of equipment, and minor repairs.
• Maintain minimum order quantity for fast‑moving items.
• Conduct regular inventory checks: random weekly checks and more thorough monthly checks.
• Ship canceled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounts or equivalent.
• More than 3 years of experience in store keeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
• Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Tally.
• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.
• Keen attention to detail and effective time management.
• Skills to operate common office equipment.
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
