The Fullerton Joint Union High School District recognizes the importance of extra-curricular activities in students' education. To provide these opportunities, FJUHSD seeks interested, talented, and qualified employees. Candidates recommended by school sites for classified walk-on coaching or co-curricular assignments must submit the following along with employment paperwork, which will be provided by Human Resources. HR will contact candidates to set up an appointment once the hiring request is received from the campus.

Coaches must complete the following steps:

  • Obtain Fingerprint clearance.
  • Submit a negative Mantoux TB test taken within the last 60 days. If previously tested within the last two years in another district, it will be accepted.
  • Submit two forms of personal  (e.g., Social Security Card, California Driver's License, California , or Passport). Present original documents when submitting paperwork.
  • Provide proof of current infant, child, and adult First Aid/CPR/AED, Title V Certification, CIF-NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, Heat, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion, Cheer/Dance (if applicable), and Water Safety (if applicable) Certificates via CIF Home Campus (links at the bottom of this page).

    • If interested, see the campus Athletic Director or AP/SA to start the process. After completing the steps, HR will contact you for paperwork and the Live Scan fingerprint form. Once paperwork is approved, the Assistant Principal will contact you to begin your assignment. No one may start before approval from the AP/SA.
