Position:
Theater Instructor, part‑time, temporary faculty assignments on an as‑needed basis.

Minimum qualifications:

• Teach theatre courses in lecture and lab settings as assigned, including hybrid/online formats.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in alignment with curriculum standards.
• Support student learning and academic success, fostering inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and program evaluation as required.

• Master’s or Master of Fine Arts in Drama/Theatre Arts/Performance, or equivalent 4‑year graduate degree.
• OR Bachelor’s or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama/Theatre Arts/Performance plus Master’s in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature, or humanities.
• OR valid California teaching credential authorizing service in community college for relevant subject area (or equivalency).
• Evidence of degree conferred/awarded required on a legible transcript.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; demonstrate sensitivity to diverse student populations.

• Successful experience fostering arts education for historically underrepresented or marginalized groups.
• Experience with hybrid/online teaching and campus‑based training.
