We’re looking for Systems Engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, engaging in a dynamic team environment, and are eager to learn. As a Sentinel® Radar Systems Engineer, you will participate in challenging multi-disciplinary work consisting of:
Radar Development Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Integration & Test of Radar Hardware and Software Flight Tests and Performance Analysis Radar System Sell-Off

• Responsible for the development and implementation of radar requirements
• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
• Responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions, and subsequently conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performance
• Work in a team environment, receiving inputs from the team supervisors and providing guidance and/or direction to other team members
• Support hands‑on operational Integration and Test at the Fullerton Test Site
• Support flight tests and analyze collected data to evaluate radar performance
• Support CONUS and OCONUS radar system sell‑off to the customer
• Ability to travel ~10%

• Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience working with object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
  • Experience in System Integration & Test of hardware and software
• Preferred
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
  • Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings
  • Experience with radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration, test and verification
  • Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools
  • Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture
