Sterile Processing Technician - Nights

Job Overview

Sanitation Technician – St. Jude Medical Center. Responsible for cleaning, preparation, and sterilization of instruments, trays, and equipment; operating departmental machinery; managing supplies; and maintaining a clean work environment.

• Cleaning, preparation, and sterilization of instruments, trays and equipment.
• Operating departmental machinery and computer systems.
• Receiving, labeling, stocking, and delivering supplies and equipment.
• Answering phones, filling orders, and maintaining inventory.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and storage areas.
• Adhering to sterile processing standards and protocols.

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (within 1 year of hire) OR
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (within 1 year of hire).

• 2 years of experience as SPD technician.

Full time, multiple shifts available. Pay range: $24.00 – $31.52 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
