Position SummaryIn compliance with ORR Policy & Procedures, identify and process potential sponsors and expedite reunification for Unaccompanied Children; obtain required documentation; and ensure timely and accurate maintenance of official records.
The Unit Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance and oversight support to assigned staff including but not limited to: hiring, training, weekly supervision and performance documentation to ensure the continuity of care and accountability of services.
Pay Range$24.78 - $35.40 per hour
Essential Duties- Ensures client-centered service planning including effective advocacy, cross team collaboration, and client empowerment.
- Communicates relevant information and coordinates with staff to establish and meet clients’ treatment goals.
- Sets clear, measurable and specific goals for assigned staff and meets weekly for review.
- Provides specific performance feedback to staff, both positive and corrective, as soon as possible after event or action.
- Oversees written evaluations, submitted evaluations and any rate change submissions for approval. Presents evaluation to staff.
- Maintains a professional environment that is consistent with existing contracts, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.
- Reviews and approves timely and accurate documentation of all Case Managers.
- Monitors effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention of all Case Managers.
BA/BS in a related field preferred plus 2 Years of experience. Experience in related field considered in lieu of degree. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred.
Additional Requirements- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to facilitate interviews, build trust, and ensure cooperation.
- Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, First Aid/CPR, and other evidence-informed practices.
- Must be computer-literate and be able to understand and effectively use electronic health record/billing systems.
- Bi-lingual Spanish proven proficiency will result in additional stipend to base pay.
