Social Worker LCSW – Palliative Care at Providence
Join our team to provide compassionate, whole‑person care in Palliative Care settings.
OverviewAs a Behavioral Health Consultant, you will be a core member of the primary care team, collaborating with nursing staff, pharmacists, substance abuse specialists, psychiatrists, and case managers. Your role focuses on empowering patients to gain self‑efficacy, manage their health, and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities• Assist patients with self‑efficacy and management skills.
• Support patients in achieving optimal functional health status and quality of life.
• Work under minimal supervision, following general policies, standard practices, and the mental health code of ethics (Chapter 71.05 RCW).
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire
- At least 3 years of experience with adult populations and familiarity with a broad range of psychiatric disorders
- Prior experience in integrated behavioral health
