Physical Therapist - School in Fullerton, CA

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist, supporting elementary-aged students for the upcoming  school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with working hours of either 7:30 am4:00 pm or 8:00 am4:30 pm, providing meaningful engagement with students in an educational setting near Fullerton, CA.

• Valid state Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in California
• Prior experience working within a school environment, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Familiarity with pediatric therapy modalities and best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable, compassionate approach suited to a dynamic school atmosphere

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to elementary school students in accordance with IEP goals and district policies
• Assess and document students motor skills, mobility, and physical development
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support academic participation and functional access
• Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize students progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and progress reports for each assigned child
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
