American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with 2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Work in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient population includes young adult, middle adult, and older adult cases
• Procedures include angioplasty, embolization, chemo embolization, stent placements, IVC filter placement/removal, nephrostomy, cystoscopy, and various angiographic studies
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, and scrubbing to maintain a sterile field
• Epic EMR experience required
• May require floating between sister facilities as needed

• Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT or CCI RCIS certification required (ARRT R and California Radiologic Tech preferred)
• Valid state license required if applicable; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and Star Close
• Skilled in a wide range of IR procedures including angiography, biopsy, and stent placements
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
• Candidates must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process; post-offer RTO changes may not be accommodated
