Overview

Membership Sales Consultant role at Gold's Gym SoCal Group. The position is hourly and focused on providing world-class service to guests and members, leveraging knowledge of company products and programs. The role emphasizes helping members achieve their fitness goals and contributing to club profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Tour potential members through the club and describe facilities, equipment, services, and amenities aligned with their fitness needs and goals.
  • Register guests and ensure accurate entry into the system.
  • Communicate membership and fitness offers clearly using company-provided presentation tools.
  • Sign up guests using company sales techniques and protocol.
  • Adhere to Membership Agreement procedures when enrolling members and guests.
  • On-board new members and assist with retention activities to drive club profitability.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed personal and team sales goals.
  • Generate leads externally via community outreach, local promotions, and corporate sales on-sites, and internally through referrals and guest passes.
  • Set appointments for leads and new business opportunities; maintain personal productivity goals.
  • Partner with the Membership Sales Manager to provide a member-centric experience and strengthen member retention.
  • Engage members with fitness offerings including personal training, group exercise classes, and Gold's Gym SoCal digital content.
  • Maintain relationships with members and connect them with appropriate resources.
  • Maintain a clean, friendly, well-maintained club environment and help new members become comfortable in the club.
Qualifications (Must Haves)
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills; effective communication and listening abilities.
  • Ability to delegate, follow up, plan, and organize; create a positive environment.
  • Willingness for self-development; ability to leverage resources to improve operations.
  • Strong leadership and motivation, team-building skills.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Physical Requirements

Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; wear a clean uniform and maintain professional demeanor.

Compensation

Compensation: $16.50 - $17.87 per hour.
