Appliance Service Technician

We are looking for candidates to join our growing service department. This is a full‑time, Monday‑Friday position with typical daytime hours. Candidates should have at least one year of experience installing, repairing, and/or servicing a wide range of household appliances. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing appliances in the customer's home and in our shop. Duties span washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, as well as built‑in cooking appliances such as cooktops and wall ovens.

Experience with built‑in appliance installation and EPA‑approved refrigeration technician certification are highly desired.

Self‑servicing appliance dealers have become a rarity in today’s world, but that is where you come in. We service each and every appliance that we sell, and our technicians are factory certified to work on brands including Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Maytag, Amana, GE, Frigidaire, and Speed Queen. We are willing to train the right candidate, but we prefer a basic knowledge of tools and appliances.

Pay will be determined based on skills and experience.

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s home.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
• Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross‑training in related positions.

• Proficiency to navigate tablet‑based technology.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
• Physical endurance to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
