Responsibilities- Effectively plan and supervise the daily operation of Maintenance staff, supporting the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of various machinery and equipment in a productive and safe environment.
- Perform field service on work orders, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and machine repair.
- Develop, continuously monitor, and evolve preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures.
- Process and follow up with requesters daily on Facilities work orders through a work order management system.
- Control inventory of Facilities supplies needed for maintenance and repair related to building and grounds, maintaining vehicle and equipment inventories.
- Collaborate with contractors in planning and estimating small Facilities projects.
- Assist with internal project construction support, estimating labor and materials as needed.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a building maintenance technician in a commercial and/or industrial field, including practical experience in electrical, plumbing, construction, carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and building compressed air systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor leading and directing maintenance technicians.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, and strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools and must have own tools.
- Ability to effectively maintain current preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures, and develop and implement new PM schedules and procedures.
- Experience operating a forklift and scissor lift.
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) experience.
- People Soft experience or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience.
- Availability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
